NOC Infrastructure Engineer | Maine

Our Network Operations Center (NOC) is seeking a full-time Infrastructure Engineer to join our talented and growing team of IT professionals in Portland, Maine. NOC Infrastructure Incident Queue Engineers provide crucial Tier-II support and are key to assisting our Managed Services clients throughout the Northeast.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a strong technical foundation, who is committed to quality engineering and unsurpassed client service. The right candidate will have great communication and problem-solving skills, a passion for working with new technologies, and the ability to work in fast-paced environments.

REQUIREMENTS

Technology Requirements

  • Route/Switch: Proficiency in network switch and router configuration and management.
  • Firewall: Proficiency in firewall technologies and security protocols.
  • Wireless: Knowledge of wireless networking and access point management.
  • Voice: Knowledge of voice communication systems and unified communications.
  • Management: Familiarity with network management and monitoring tools.
  • Certifications: Technical certifications in network engineering are a plus.
  • Networking Principles: Knowledge of networking models and foundational networking principles, including the OSI model.
